Everything between the drawing and the dock
A napkin sketch, one missing piece before a launch, or a supply chain nobody has audited in five years — we have worked every part of this problem before.

Design for Manufacturing
We redesign parts around the process that will actually make them, so tooling, tolerances and material choices survive contact with a factory. Getting this wrong is the most expensive mistake in hardware, and it is almost always made before anyone quotes the part.
- Process selection and part consolidation
- Tolerance stack-up and datum strategy
- Tooling review — draft, gating, parting lines

Prototyping
Working parts built in production-representative materials and processes, not something that only looks right on a desk. A prototype that cannot be manufactured has told you nothing about whether your product can be.
- Functional and appearance prototypes
- Soft tooling and bridge production
- Test fixtures and assembly aids

Supplier Sourcing & Audits
We find, qualify and audit manufacturers in person, then run them through an approval process most of them do not survive. Of more than two thousand vendors we have identified, roughly one in ten has reached direct audited status.
- Supplier identification and RFQ management
- On-site capability and capacity audits
- Supplier Approval Process administration

Quality Systems
Inspection plans, first article reports and acceptance testing, so the ten thousandth part matches the one you approved. We write these so your own people can run them once we are gone.
- PPAP and first article inspection
- Control plans and inspection criteria
- Factory acceptance testing

Engineering Analysis
Cost breakdowns, failure analysis and design review. By reducing a component to its constituent materials and processes we can usually predict its target cost to within 5 to 10% of the ideal quoted value — which is how we spot a quote that is too good to be true.
- Should-cost models and teardowns
- Failure and root cause analysis
- Design review against manufacturing risk

Logistics
Moving finished goods by air, land and sea, with the packaging and customs work that goes with it. The cheapest part in the world is not cheap if it arrives damaged, late, or stuck at a border.
- Freight planning and forwarder selection
- Transit packaging and drop testing
- Customs documentation and tariff classification
